Legal Information & Terms

Terms and Conditions

Provider identification, website terms of use, and the scope of the services presented by RMC Hub.

Última atualização: September 2026

1. Purpose and Scope

This website is operated by RMC Hub Family Office, Lda., with its registered office at Rua 5 de Outubro, no. 4, 8900-239 Vila Real de Santo António, Portugal, and Portuguese tax/company number (NIF/NIPC) 518000000. Contact: contacto@rmchub.pt.

The website presents strategic advisory, asset coordination, architectural design, and operational systems services (Family Office & Advisory). These terms govern use of the website and do not replace the terms agreed for any separately commissioned service. Submitting an enquiry or contact form does not itself conclude a services contract. The specific terms and any legally required pre-contractual information will be provided before a service is contracted, including information about any applicable right of withdrawal.

2. Regulatory Scope and Reserved Activities

RMC Hub provides strategic advisory and multidisciplinary coordination. The references below describe legal requirements and do not, by themselves, mean that RMC Hub provides or is authorised to provide those regulated activities. Where a project involves an activity subject to authorisation, licensing, or professional registration, that activity must be carried out by a legally qualified person or entity.

  • Credit: Credit that is subject to a statutory authorisation requirement may only be granted by appropriately authorised institutions. Credit intermediation and the provision of advisory services concerning credit agreements require authorisation and registration with Banco de Portugal, as applicable. See the register of credit intermediaries ↗.
  • Financial instruments: Investment advice and intermediation concerning securities or other financial instruments are regulated where they fall within the scope of applicable law and may only be provided by appropriately authorised or registered entities. The content on this website does not constitute personalised investment advice. See the list of entities authorised by the CMVM ↗.
  • Crypto-assets: Services within the scope of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 (MiCA) are subject to authorisation and supervision, as applicable. In Portugal, Law no. 69/2025 designates Banco de Portugal and the CMVM as competent authorities depending on the matter and provides for publication of the national list of authorised or eligible entities. See Law no. 69/2025 ↗ and ESMA's MiCA register ↗. In the cases covered by Article 11 of Law no. 69/2025, crypto-asset service providers and certain issuers must give consumers access to out-of-court redress, including by joining at least two ADR bodies.
  • Architecture and projects: For projects, works, and activities covered by the statutory professional qualification regime, preparation, signing, or coordination must be carried out by legally qualified technicians with a valid professional registration where required. RMC Hub's coordination does not replace that technical responsibility. See Portuguese Law no. 31/2009, as amended, and the relevant legislation ↗.
  • Legal services and audit: Legal advice and acts reserved by law to Portuguese lawyers (advogados) and solicitors (solicitadores) must be carried out by qualified professionals under applicable law. Statutory audits and other functions reserved to Portuguese statutory auditors (revisores oficiais de contas) must be carried out by duly qualified auditors. RMC Hub's coordination of specialists does not replace those services. See Portuguese Law no. 10/2024 ↗ and the applicable professional statute.
  • Real estate brokerage: In Portugal, real estate brokerage is subject to an IMPIC licence. See the IMPIC licence search ↗.

3. Data Protection and Privacy (GDPR)

Personal data processed through this website is governed by applicable data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679) and Portuguese Law no. 58/2019. See our Privacy Policy for details of specific processing.

For details about cookies and similar technologies, see our Cookie Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

Website content may be protected by copyright, industrial property rights, or third-party licences. Unless authorised by the rights holder or permitted by law, reproduction or exploitation is not permitted. Rights in third-party content remain with their respective holders.

5. Limitation of Liability

Articles, notes, and other information on this website are general and informational. They do not, by themselves, constitute an offer to provide services or individual legal, tax, financial, or technical advice. We seek to keep content current but do not warrant that all content is complete or continuously up to date. Nothing here excludes or limits consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Verify information relevant to your circumstances with qualified professionals before making a decision.

6. Electronic Complaints Book

Where RMC Hub and the relevant activity fall within the scope of Portuguese Decree-Law no. 156/2005, as amended, consumers may submit complaints through the official Electronic Complaints Book platform. Covered providers must display access to the platform prominently on their websites.

Access the Electronic Complaints Book ↗

7. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

Under Portuguese Law no. 144/2015, consumers may refer disputes to competent ADR bodies. The provider's statutory duty to inform concerns bodies to which it is bound by membership or mandatory arbitration. The listing below is for information and does not state that RMC Hub has joined CIMAAL.

For disputes in Faro district that fall within the centre's subject-matter remit, consumers may contact CIMAAL — Faro Consumer Information, Mediation and Arbitration Centre.

    Phone: +351 289 823 135 | Email: info@consumoalgarve.pt

The former European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform stopped accepting complaints on 20 March 2025 and was discontinued on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. To find an ADR body in the EU, consult the European Commission's directory ↗. Portugal's list is available from the Portuguese Consumer Portal ↗.

8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules and applicable rules on conflict of laws and court jurisdiction, including Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 where applicable. For contracts within Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I), choosing Portuguese law cannot deprive a consumer of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of the consumer's country of habitual residence. Consumer disputes may be referred to the competent alternative dispute resolution body under applicable law.
